Empire’s Partners in Printing Expo (Thursday, July 27 at Stoney Creek Inn, 9 AM to 4 PM) offered print professionals the unparalleled chance to experience the latest technology, materials, and equipment.
This dynamic show was where leading imaging professionals, such as 3M, PolymerFilms, Demak, Sefar, WSBC, and even more companies showcased their best products and innovative applications.
JULY 25, 2023: PIP 3M CUP CHARITY GOLF
We had a charity golf outing on Tuesday, July 25th.
It was $100 per ticket, and these proceeds supports the local Boys and Girls Clubs of the Greater La Crosse Area. Through this event, we raised $5191.51 for the program.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse is a safe place for youth from all backgrounds to learn and grow, with special concern for those from challenging circumstances. The Clubs provide the opportunities and resources for youth to carry out their dreams and goals. We want to inspire our youth, impact our youth, and also invest in them for years to come. We want our Clubs to become the backbone of their existence and success.
JULY 26, 2023: PROFESSIONAL LEARNING
Here was our roster of speakers, offering professional insights and giving tools to improve business. Following these presentations, Empire’s president John Freismuth invited attendees to his famous Wisconsin BBQ.
AMIR GHANNAD
Amir Ghannad is a frequent and highly sought-after international keynote speaker at leadership summits in the US and abroad.
He’s also the founder of The Ghannad Group, which offers speaking, workshop facilitation, executive coaching and consulting services, focused on guiding leaders in creating extraordinary cultures that deliver breakthrough results and unprecedented fulfillment.
KELLY SWANSON
Kelly Swanson is an award-winning storyteller, comedian, motivational speaker, Huffington Post contributor, and cast member of The Fashion Hero television show airing on Amazon Prime.
She just launched her one-woman show, Who Hijacked My Fairy Tale in theaters, and it is booked all over the country. In July of 2022, she was inducted into the National Speakers Association Speaker Hall of Fame.
JESSY ORTIZ
Jessy Servi Ortiz is the managing director of the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council (WSBC). As a member-driven organization, the WSBC offers tools to educate, assess and integrate business-based sustainability practices.
Her background includes sustainability management, regenerative agriculture, design systems, and business. She has experience in developing and managing sustainability programs, including strategy, engagement, communication, and collaborating across departments to develop, track and oversee KPIs.
JULY 27, 2023: THE EXPO
Hosted at Stoney Creek, we had vendors from all around the globe to show the latest in the printing industry, such as materials, presses, and technology. We learned about the most recent advancements in the field, and got some free samples and insights right from the experts themselves.
Tours of Empire were available via shuttle buses. Food trucks were also available.
AFTER EXPO CELEBRATION
After the expo, we had our after expo celebration, which included entertainment, open bar options, and an appetizer buffet. It was another networking opportunity before PIP 2023 ended. Music by Bear Creek Band.
