Screen printer has built an Empire in Onalaska



“In October of 1960, James (Jim) Brush opened the doors of Empire Screen Printing in a garage on French Island in La Crosse, and those doors have blown open to success he could never have imagined.

‘During this time, Jim was homeless and living out of his car,’ said Jennifer Schloesser, creative director at Empire Screen Printing.

Today, that business has turned into a more than 150,000-square-foot manufacturing screen printing empire.”
