“This is the first year I’ve tried gardening. What got me interested in the first place was the bee crisis. They’re such an important part of the ecosystem, I figured I’d do my part. I planted wildflowers in an old fire pit I never used, which included sunflowers in the seed mix.
“Not only did I see bumblebees buzzing near my flowers, but I also saw beetles and other insects I never bothered to notice before. Birds loved the seeds, and rabbits hid under the mess of petals. It accented the nature in my own backyard.”

“My oldest son snagged this fish on Lake Namakagon in northern Wisconsin. I like to spend quality time with my family, taking vacations together.”
