“My friends and I drove down to Lansing, Iowa, where we checked out Horsefall’s, the river, and this overlook. It’s fun to explore new places. There are a lot of hidden gems in the tri-state area.
“The overlook, Mount Hosmer City Park, is named for Harriet Hosmer, a sculptress who won a footrace to the summit of the hill during a steamboat layover in the 1850s.”

“It was my daughter’s 21st birthday party. We attended a Brewers game with my family, and my daughter wanted to drink in front of a big crowd.”
